Dig Nature’s Grave

It’s been so long since we’ve seen anything on the nature-run-amuck horror LONG WEEKEND, I bet we wouldn’t even recognize it anymore. But that’s probably because it has undergone a title change to NATURE’S GRAVE, which does make more sense considering the plot. The flick has also come up with some nifty new artwork for its upcoming DVD release. Check it out up top. Pretty eerie, right? I have no f*cking clue how star, Jim Caviezel, can keep a serious face with all those icky bugs crawling around his ear! Perhaps that is because it’s only a poster.

It seems that Mother Nature sure can be a bitch if you don’t respect her. Just check out NATURE’S synopsis: A suburban couple take a weekend vacation in the hopes of repairing their relationship. They set out to an isolated beach where disrespect Mother Nature and then encounter her revenge.

I actually really want to check out this flick. Not only does it star acting genius, Caviezel, and hottie, Claudia Karvan (below), but it was also directed by suspense genius, Jamie Blanks. If you haven’t seen Mr. Blanks’ STORM WARNING yet, you’re really missing out! In the meantime, be sure to check out NATURE’S GRAVE when it hits DVD on August 4th.
