Dinklage’s Affair

Variety reported today that somewhat famous little person Peter Dinklage (of ELF and THE STATION AGENT) has signed on to play a detective who investigates strange supernatural occurances in the film adaptation of George C. Chesbro’s AN AFFAIR OF SORCERERS.

Dinklage will be playing Dr. Robert “Mongo” Frederickson, who among other things, attempts to save a girl who’s under the spell of an occult.

Apparently Fireband Entertainment and Greenlight Pictures are trying to jumpstart the project for hopes of a franchise charactor in Mongo.

A little person detective named Mongo battling the supernatural? F*ckin’ A, count me in! What better way to spend two hours? Especially with Dinklage in the title role- that guy’s frickin’ intense! Will he the next Warwick Davis? We can only hope so…
