It’s almost always interesting to listen to mainstays in our genre talk about all things horror candidly. To repeatedly work in a genre like this it definitely requires a certain amount of passion for the product the other genres don’t seem to need. Am I right? So when a group of horror regulars get together to talk shop it’s always wise to lend your ear for a little while… So that’s exactly what I’m asking you do today!
You see FearNET are planning on celebrating February, which happens to be ‘Women in Horror Month,’ with a series of videos called “Tea Party Macabre.” In the web-series FearNET will gather legendary females of our genre for round-table discussions on all things horror. Intrigued? Of course you are!
The first episode of the series just went up and can be found below. Titled ‘Pardon My Ass Kick,’ the video features Riki Lindhome, Jen Yamato, Diora Baird (below), Heather Wixson and Denise Gossett and their comparison of roles for tough women in comedies against horror. You know you’re interested so do yourself a favor and scope out the video below! If “Tea Party Macabre” catches on you can expect some more entries to the series all throughout February!
