Twitter has been around for seven years but I feel like it’s only been in the last couple of years that people have been able to figure out how to use the social networking service to its full potential. This is particularly true with people in the film industry. While some directors love to work in secrecy, others really want to connect with their fans and promote whatever project they may be working on. They know fully well that CNN or THR aren’t going to care about some random picture from the set of MAN OF STEEL or PACIFIC RIM but they also know that there are people out there that live off of every bit of news that is released for a particular film.

Marc Webb is very active with his Twitter and has tweeted a bunch of pictures while filming THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2. Webb has released two more pictures and this time the images are of the director inside a chamber that appears in the movie. Of course it isn’t revealed what the chamber is for but it looks big enough for a rhino…

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 has been filming for almost two months now and they’re not done yet so I’m sure Marc Webb will continue to drop more images and teases for us to speculate about.

Synopsis:

In THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx) emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan) returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 hits theaters on May 2nd, 2014.
