Director Sylvain White goes from The Losers to the Round Table?

Vampires might be the most popular genre at the moment, but lately it seems like the legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table is giving the bloodsuckers a run for the top.

Guy Ritchie is reportedly interested in directing a take on the tale from comic writer Warren Ellis, and Bryan Singer is attached to a remake of EXCALIBUR.

And now THE LOSERS director Sylvain White is eyeballing a medieval action pic called PENDRAGON. The project is “an origin story of a sort, looking at characters like Arthur, Lancelot and Guinevere as they meet at Camelot”.

Though his exploits have been variably and wildly fictionalized with romance and sorcery, the real Arthur supposedly led the defense of Britain against Saxon invaders in the early sixth century.
