Apparently a human centipede is hard to kill…

While putting the finishing touches on THE HUMAN CENTIPESDE 2 (FULL SEQUENCE), Dutch director Tom Six has told Entertainment Weekly that the film isn’t a mere sequel, but that it’s a potential middle segment of a HUMAN CENTIPEDE trilogy. In fact, as he did in comparing part two to part one, Six says the third and “final sequence” will make the one before it look like a stroll in the park. Brutal!

Here’s Six’s exact quotation:

“Three films makes a Human Centipede for me. Three can be the combination. What I want to do is make The Human Centipede III (Final Sequence). And then I don’t want to make any Human Centipedes again. I’ve a terrific idea for it that’s completely different than 1 and 2 again. I think Part 3 will make Part 2 look like a Disney film.”

As for when HUMAN CENTIPEDE 2 will release, Six added:

“It’s going out after the summer. Part 2, not many people have seen it. Only the distributor and the people who worked in post production. They think it’s really crazy. I made this joke about Part 1 being My Little Pony compared to Part 2. People at the distribution company (IFC), at the first screening they had, some people walked away because they couldn’t handle the things they are seeing. But they absolutely love it. They think it’s going to explode because of what’s happening with Part 1 and South Park and stuff. Part 2 is really something else.”

Six concluded with the mildest of spoilers on part 2:

“I can say it has a centipede of 12 people. I want to keep it a surprise. Dieter (the mad doc in the first film) or one of the people of the centipede comes back.”

And there it is. Tell you what, acquired taste or no, this Six fella is one sick f*ck. With that, who’s up for a HUMAN CENTIPEDE trilogy? Is two enough?
