Word is that Christopher B. Landon (DISTURBIA) and Michael R. Perry will pen the script for PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 3. While Perry was always credited for PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 2‘s script, Landom’s name has recently been amended to the movie’s IMDb page with a screenplay credit. We know that’s not the most reliable source, but it makes sense that they would both come back.
Paramount Pictures are quickly moving forward with the third entry in the successful franchise. Story details are being kept under wraps, but the film is scheduled to hit theaters on October 21st. It is being produced by Oren Peli, who directed the original.
Are you glad the writers from Part 2 are back, or would you rather some fresh talent? Do you even want a Part 3? The first two didn’t get very high praise from The Arrow, although they were certainly successful at the box office. I personally found them effective, and I’m interested to see where they take the story next.
