DMC4 site relaunch

Remember the other day when we ran a story on the DEVIL MAY CRY 4 Japanese site teasing something happening on Friday? Well, Friday’s here, and Capcom has re-launched the DMC4 website with a whack of new stuff.

Okay, so some of the new stuff won’t be online until later in the month, but at least there’s stuff on the site to have fans speculating, including a shot of series’ mainstay Dante and what looks to be Virgil, though the dude’s labled as Nero. Now, before you point out that Nero is simply the Japanese name for Virgil, keep in mind that in the original DEVIL MAY CRY, Virgil was referred to as Nelo Angelo, so this may be a totally different character.

However, anyone who knows the Japanese language (I don’t but I know some), the English L and R tend to become mixed up when translating because these sounds don’t exist in Japanese. Therefore, Nelo can become Nero when translated incorrectly. Confused yet? It might be Capcom’s plan to leave gamers on this side of the pond confused, since all the behind-the-scenes text in certain sections of the site are in kanji.

Eventually, we’ll know for certain just what the deal is, but for now, head on over to see for yourself what to expect from the game.
