Our own Chris Bumbray reviewed BLACK DEATH out of Fantasia Film Fest last summer and said it was “a very well done and chilling piece of gothic horror” and gave it an 8/10 review. We’ve had to wait a little while to get BLACK DEATH stateside but the film is finally on its way and if you live in NYC, you can check the film out for free, listen to a Q&A with director Christopher Smith and chug down some free beer!

Our pals at UGO are hosting the NYC premiere of the film and have invited all interested parties to join them for the screening, Q&A and after party.

It all goes down at 7pm on Tuesday, March 1st and the Landmark Cinemas on East Houston. The party will follow immediately after at the Double Down Saloon.

If you would like to join, all you have to do is email UGO editor Jordan Hoffman (jhoffman@ugo.com), let him know if you are bringing a date or if you are flying solo and make sure to put the words BLACK DEATH in your subject line. I’ll be there and so will AITH pimp Eric Walkuski, so why not come by and hang out and see a good movie?…
