Marvel’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is casting a powerful spell on MCU fans on their way to the box office. Ahead of the film’s world premiere later this evening, Fandango named Marvel’s Doctor Strange sequel the summer’s most anticipated movie via its big ticket presales datat.

Doctor Strange 2 presales have been super-strong ever since tickets went on sale on April 6. In the Fandango sales cycle, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness sold five times as many tickets as the original Doctor Strange and outpaced such Marvel Studios hits as Captain MarvelThor: Ragnarok, and Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2.

In addition to selling scores of tickets to the film, Fandango surveyed to find out why people are excited about the release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. After interviewing thousands of fans, this is what Fandango discovered:

  • 92% look forward to exploring the events following Spider-Man: No Way Home.
  • 92% are fans of Benedict Cumberbatch.

  • 85% are fans of Elizabeth Olsen.
  • 83% are avoiding social media this week to avoid spoilers.
  • 78% are fans of “WandaVision.”
