So chances are you guys dug Dennis Iliadis’ THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT remake, right? While not as brutal as the original it was still pretty damn vicious and surprisingly well done. So when news crosses our airwaves on Iliadis’ next project, well you can bet we’re going to jump at the chance to tell you about it!

The project I’m getting at is something called THE CURE, which Iliadis will not only be directing, but writing with partner Beau Michael Thorne. Apparently there’s already a couple names being eyed for the starring roles in the film.

It seems the young actor Dominic Cooper has been offered the lead role of ‘Jeff’ while the producers seem keene on the beautiful Liv Tyler for the role of ‘Mary’. Mind you neither Cooper (above) or Tyler have signed on for the project so it can still go any way. So what’s the rundown on this one? Check it:

The story centers on a young man who sends his wife for an experimental treatment to save her from a terminal illness. Although she returns completely cured, she is suddenly infected with something more terrifying.

There you have it folks. Sounds intriguing enough, right? We’ll be keeping our eyes and ears open for more on THE CURE in the immediate future so be sure to check back soon for that.
