I’ll admit I’m a fan of Dominic Purcell. I saw him once on PRISONBREAK and was immediately sold. Now that I got that out of the way, there’s been a lot of talk on the interweb as of late about Purcell being casted in this strange film that is borderline bloody/not bloody. Strange isn’t it?
The film is called ESCAPEE and it’s been protected under the umbrella of Hollywood Media Brige, Tall Tales Entertainment, Voltage Pictures and Nantuckey Productions. That’s a mouthful. What that means is there really isn’t a lot to go by right now as far as info. This is what’s known currently:
Purcell plays a psychotic criminal who escapes from a secure hospital and embars on a murderous spree in search of a specific female target.
Blood-Disgusting also reports that the female target will be played by Christine Evangelista. The film also stars Melissa Ordway, Carly Chaikin, and Scott Michael Elrod. Campion Murphey will be writing and directing the thriller. Sounds like it could be a lot of fun. We’ve some juiced up psycho-killer who goes ina killer spree (hopefully with a variety of utensils at his disposal) as he hunts down some broad he probably has close ties with. Fair enough. We’ll keep you posted in the coming months with whatever information drops by our way.
