Back in October, we tossed the official trailer for Magnet Releasing’s JOHN DIES AT THE END your way. The thing was a real hoot, and seemed hard to top, but now IGN has gone ahead and unveiled a sweet red-band preview for the Don Coscarelli film, which will be available On Demand later this month. Check the flipped-out trailer below, it’s as bizarre and profane as could be hoped for.

In JOHN DIES AT THE END, it’s all about the Soy Sauce, a drug that promises an out-of-body
experience with each hit. Users drift across time and dimensions. But some who come back are no longer human. Suddenly a silent otherworldly invasion is underway, and mankind needs a hero. What it gets instead is John (Rob Mayes) and David (Chase Williamson), a pair of college dropouts who can barely hold down jobs. Can these two stop the oncoming horror in time to save humanity? No. No, they can’t.

Magnet Releasing will release JOHN DIES AT THE END, which also stars Paul Giamatti, Clancy Brown, Glynn Turman and Doug Jones, through Magnet On-Demand December 27, 2012 and in theaters January 25, 2013.
