I’ve never been into petitions
where I rarely feel that they have any impact on what goes down. But I had
to sign
this one, on principle alone and I
encourage you all to do the same.
This petition is to STOP
THE EVIL DEAD REMAKE which has to be the biggest F*CK YOU that
I as a hardcore genre fan have had the dis-pleasure of
getting from another supposedly horror buff… yes…I mean you Sam Raimi.
WE DON’T NEED ONE! No you don’t get it…we REALLY don’t need
one!!! Yes I know, the TCM and the DAWN OF THE DEAD remake came out
decent bla, bla, bla, but in all honesty I’d incinerate them both right now in the name of getting original material instead.
We didn’t need them either! But that’s just me talking.
You want to introduce THE EVIL DEAD to the
new generation Sam? HAVE THEM RENT THE FREAKING ORIGINAL! And what ever happened
to staying true to the older generation? You know the one that MADE THESE FILM$
over the years! COME ON! Don’t contribute to the overt and shameless WHORING of
our beloved genre! Don’t encourage the suits to keep to this "milk the cow till
it’s a Big Mac" trend! Who swallowed your soul man?
