I actually reported on this a few weeks ago, but nothing is truly “official” until it hits the trades, so here it is again: Dougray Scott will be chasing rogue assassin Timothy Olyphant in the big-screen adaptation of the HITMAN vidgame series.
The flick, produced by Luc Besson and directed by first-timer Xavier Gens, has also added a few other cast members, including Euro hottie Olga Kurylenko and Robert Knepper (aka “T-Bag” from TV’s PRISON BREAK). The script comes from SWORDFISH writer Skip Woods.
Scott will play an Interpol agent on the trail of Code 47 (sort of a cat-and-mouse Ford-Jones THE FUGITIVE relationship), who’s also dealing with the Russian military after a contract goes awry. The Fox movie is currently shooting (ahem), with a goal to hit (ahem) theaters later this year.
