Those beasts at Bloody-Disgusting snagged themselves a couple of images from the upcoming film version of Clive Barker’s DREAD. Click it right HERE to see the other one, which unfortunately doesn’t involve an ax, but does show off a hot chick with a strange skin affliction. Egads!

So what’s DREAD about? Quaid, a student of philosophy, who is obsessed by his own nightmare of an ax-murdering clown so he concocts a series of experiments to observe firsthand how other people react to the things that most horrify them. But while Quaid slowly unpeels the psyches of his imprisoned and tortured captives like a reeking onion, his own dread waits, just beyond his control.

The film is currently shooting in London under the direction of Anthony DiBlasi. Hopefully some more images will trickle down the pipeline soon!
