Sometimes the group of people that come together to make one movie sounds so awesome that it makes you just scream at the thought of what might happened when the final product is all said and done. This is one of those times.

According to Variety Guillermo del Toro & Clive Barker are producing the upcoming Jennifer Connelly horror flick BORN, with claymation effects by Chiodo Bros. Productions (KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE). Yes, all those people wrapped into one movie! Can you flippin’ imagine???

BORN goes a little something like this: [The Story] revolves around a couple who settle down in a seemingly idyllic English town to raise a family. Their perfect life is shaken when the husband, a claymation artist, discovers his characters are acting out a nightmare that comes to life.

That’s right, not just claymation, but killer and nightmarish claymation at that! Throw in super-hottie Connelly, not to mention mega producers del Toro and Barker, and what you have may be the coolest sounding movie we’ve seen in a long time. Count me in!

Directed by Daniel Simpson and co-starring Paul Bettany (above with Connelly), BORN is set to begin filming this August in the UK. Stick around for more on this exciting project as we hear it!

Can’t you just feel the excitement here?
