Dugan joins Monstrosity

Everybody fondly remembers Grandpa from TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE, and I’m sure a few out there even wished their grandpa was as cool as he was. Well it looks like Grandpa aka John Dugan is back in the horror game, as he just landed a role in MONSTROSITY!

What the flock is MONSTROSITY, you ask? Monstrosity follows the story of six young people who sneak into an abandoned factory, the site of a series of unsolved murders years earlier, hoping to enjoy a weekend of partying. They end up uncovering a hidden treasure and a dark secret, which embroils them in a battle for their very survival.

Why are ‘young people’ so f*cking stupid? Does that even sound like a good idea? ‘Hey, let’s go hang out where some people were murdered for laughs and good times!’ Maybe I’m not young enough to get that… Either way, Dugan is set to play Sheriff Turner in the film, no doubt investigating the murders that have yet to be solved, and the ones that are about to happen to this group of morons.

Good to see Grandpa back in the game after all these years, as we haven’t really seen the guy since TCM: THE NEXT GENERATION. No word on when filming is set, but we’ll keep you posted as soon as we do!
