Looks like delicious lass Eliza Dushku just can’t get enough of the genre fun she had in WRONG TURN. Variety reports that she’ll topline MAMBA along with Mike Vogel. The co-production from Manufacturas Audiovisuales and Abra Prod will shoot in Spain’s Basque Country.
Now I know that MAMBA doesn’t sound all that genre-y, but the synopsis leaves little doubt that evil will be at play, along with the requisite bikini fun:
“I Know What You Did Last Summer” meets “Final Destination,” [in] “Mamba” [which] turns on a group of surfer students who discover an old satanic board game called Mamba. Every time one person loses in the game, they suffer dire death.
Not entirely sure that there are many non-dire deaths, but you see where they’re going with it. The man in charge will be newbie helmer Alvaro de Arminan. So now I think the only way to wrap this up is to look at Eliza getting into character.
