There’s so much going on here that I don’t know what to think about this movie. I’m thinking there may be a pandemic involved, but I could be wrong. Oh wait, it’s called PANDEMIC? No shit. Wow. And here I thought I was just a sly mofo for taking the right cues from the montage of images on this cover on coming up with the ingenious idea that this movie is, indeed, about a pandemic. Where’s my cash prize for being so damn smart?

MUTANTS – November 3rd

The original tagline was “In Space, Whoever Wins, We Lose” but they thought that was taking the rip-off of ALIEN, PREDATOR, and ALIVE VS PREDATOR a little too far. So they switched to an even lamer tagline, and called it a day. “Fear the Truth”? How about fearing this ugly Alien/Predator hybrid? That’s what I fear! I’ll take on truth any day of the week before I take on this scary result of Alien/Predator f*cking! Yikes! In other news, it stars Michael Ironside. I love that guy!

The classic master of the macabre is back to present the fourth season of dark tales in glorious black and white. Something about the black and white of each episodes freaks me the f*ck out. It brings the tone and overall freaky vibe to a whole new level. And let’s face it, if anyone’s gonna scare the pants of you, it’s Hitchcock. If you don’t know who I’m talking about, you should probably think about jumping off a bridge right about now.
