FREAK OUT – November 7th
You’ve been dying to check it out since it hit R2 oh-so-many months ago, and now the low budget comedy horror that has been crackin’ people up around the world is finally coming R1, with it’s North American release. I personally can’t wait to check it out, if for no other reason than to see the special voice appearance of one John Fallon as the Looney Doll. I hear he rules in it. And check out these special features!

THE SEDUCTION – November 7th
Nothing sounds like a nice quite evening at home, enjoying a fine feature film on DVD. Especially one from the 80s, boasting itself as the ultimate journey into erotic sex, violence and jaw-dropping suspense! Yep, this 82′ classic may best be known for the big-screen debut of super-hottie sex-pot Morgan Fairchild, and now it’s hitting DVD like never before. Want to stalk your secret celebrity crush? KING KONG: DELUX EXTENDED EDITION – November 14th
Three discs of more action, drama, Kong’s dong, visual effects, monkey love, uncut sequences and x-rated deleted scenes than you could ever possible watch in one sitting, Universal’s milking the shit outta KING KONG, and you too can join in the fun. There’s also a gift set that comes with the monkey and his hot hand puppet of a girlfriend, along with even more crap- I mean features. Is this really necessary? No! Will they keep double dipping DVDs like this? Yes! Am I just kidding about some of those extra stuff I mentioned above? You’ll have to pick this bad boy up and find out for yourselves!

ALTERED – December 19th
If you’ve ever sat around your room, starring at the ceiling after taking a couple rips from your favorite bowl and contemplated what those dudes who made THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT were up to, then you can contemplate no more, as the answers right here: they made this straight-to-video alien abduction movie that sounded like it was gonna be da bomb, but with the cover and tag line as lame they are, I’m thinking it may end up being a p.o.s. (as in, it looks like it might suck the big one). Rental for sure, if for nothing else than to satisfy your curiosity and finally rest your brain to know what happened to those BLAIR WITCH dudes.
The (Possible) Goods:

ANGST – December 26th
With a cover like this, does it really matter what this flick is all about? For this movie- yes, it does! See, cause it’s about a chick who eats every guy she plays “hide the salami” with! Yikes! But wait, it’s gets better (or worse)- it’s not her mouth that does the eating!!! Holy shitballs folks, I think it may just be the scariest movie that man has ever seen. Welcome to our worse nightmare, ladies- and now you can own and relive the good times over and over again. If you need me, I’ll be cowering in the corner.

LADY IN THE WATER – December 19th
I for one can’t see what the big f*ckin’ deal was with this movie. And I’m not talkin’ about all the people who liked it, I’m talkin’ about all the people who hated on it! It wasn’t a bad flick, and actually, it was pretty fun. I get the fact that everyone expects gold from M. Night, but come on- no one makes a “perfect” movie every time! While it wasn’t flawless, it did have some cool shit- do yourself a favour and pick it up for the holidays. It might not have worked in the summer, but it’ll work this winter- mark my words.

SHEITAN – December 26th – Because it’ll give you something to talk about over post-Christmas dinner. Like incest and demonic possession.
DIVERGENCE – January 16th – Because revenge has never tasted this good. Ok, maybe it has but nothing wrong with having another taste.
PERTH – January 16th – Because, as the Tag Line state, it’s Singapore’s Taxi Driver, and you know that can’t be bad.
