It’s summertime! Time for beaches, pool parties and BBQs…or maybe just sitting indoors watching Blu-rays! Yeah, that’s the ticket. As we get into June, there’s plenty to look forward to: Neill Blomkamp’s very weird CHAPPIE is coming out for all those who missed it in the theater, while there’s a three movie Blomkamp set also in the cards; the underrated adaptation of Stephen King’s NEEDFUL THINGS finally hits Blu-ray and the classic Burt Lancaster-led ISLAND OF DR. MOREAU makes its Blu-ray debut. Then, in July, Scream Factory is naturally in the game with both ROBOT JOX and HOWLING II; the awesome IT FOLLOWS finally pops up on home video (doesn’t it seem like it came out ages ago?), as does the sci-fi stunner EX MACHINA.
