Dwayne Johnson shares a bad ass kaiju-inspired poster for Rampage

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Earlier today, Dwayne Johnson took to his personal Twitter account to share a kaiju-inspired poster created by Kouji Tajima, an ultra-talented Concept Artist at Double Negative. The poster features all three monsters from the upcoming action blockbuster wreaking havoc in what is now a demolished part of a thriving metropolis. With all three creatures baring their ferocious fangs, this poster leaves us with the impression that no one will be safe when George (the gorilla), Ralph (the wolf), and Lizzie (the crocodile) come stomping into town.

You can see Johnson's enthusiastic tweet for yourself below:

In director Brad Peyton's RAMPAGE, Primatologist Davis Okoye shares an unshakable bond with George, an extraordinarily intelligent, silverback gorilla that's been in his care since birth. When a rogue genetic experiment goes wrong, it causes George, a wolf and a reptile to grow to a monstrous size. As the mutated beasts embark on a path of destruction, Okoye teams up with a discredited genetic engineer and the military to secure an antidote and prevent a global catastrophe.

When the film comes roaring into cinemas, Dwayne Johnson, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Naomie Harris, Will Yun Lee, Malin Akerman, Marley Shelton, and Joe Manganiello will each have to fend for their lives against a threat unlike the world has ever seen.

RAMPAGE will arrive in theaters on April 13th. In the meantime, I'm hoping that the film will not only become a success, but that it will also help generate interest in rebooting the video game franchise as well. Can you imagine RAMPAGE running on today's PC and console market? It would be pure insanity, if placed in the right hands.
