You guys ever hear of Zenescope Entertainment and John Paul Russ’ comic book series MONSTER HUNTER’S SURVIVAL GUIDE? Yeah me neither. But apparently the property is being prepped for a live action adaptation! I can dig that.

And according to Deadline New York none other than Dwayne Johnson (above) has already been tapped to headline! Simon Kinberg is set to produce through his Genre Films shingle. And that’s about all we’ve got. Scope out the very basic rundown for MONSTER HUNTER’S SURVIVAL GUIDE:

The book series is a comprehensive guide to hunt monsters, the undead and unnatural beasts, and survive the confrontations.

Works for me! Anyone out there ever check this comic out? Hit us with some bullets below to let us know what to expect with this one! We’ll be on the lookout for more on MONSTER HUNTER’S SURVIVAL GUIDE and as soon as we hear it we’ll be sure to pass any updates right along to all of you.
