RLJ Entertainment has a set a Friday, November 13th release date for writer/director Eli Morgan Gesner's CONDEMNED. The film will be playing in select theatres and will also be available on VOD and iTunes.

Synopsis:

Fed up with her parents’ bickering, poor-little-rich-girl Maya moves in with her boyfriend who is squatting in an old, condemned building on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. With neighbors that are meth heads, junkies and degenerates, this depraved hell hole is even more toxic than it appears: After a virus born from their combined noxious waste and garbage infects the building’s residents, one by one, they succumb to a terrifying pathogen that turns them into bloodthirsty, rampaging killers and transforms their building into a savage slaughterhouse.

Dylan Penn (daughter of Sean Penn and Robin Wright), Ronen Rubinstein, Jon Abrahams, Honor Titus, Genevieve Hudson-Price, and Lydia Heart (yes, of those Hearsts) star.

Tell me that a horror movie involves people turned into bloodthirsty killers by a poop virus and you've already got me wanting to watch it at some point. Show me a picture like the one above of the poor infected person wielding what looks to be a guitar converted into an actual axe, and you've guaranteed that I'll be watching it as soon as possible. This looks and sounds like a fun time to me.
