Last week saw the teaser trailer for Denis Villeneuve's (BLADE RUNNER 2, SICARIO) latest film featuring his take on the alien invasion picture. Now we have the full domestic trailer AND the international trailer that gives you a clear vision on what the film is all about. Amy Adams portrays an expert linguist who is recruited by the military to determine whether aliens come in peace or are a threat in these trailers for ARRIVAL!

Alien pictures tend to skirt around the communication issue more often than not, so I'm excited to see Villeneuve's take and how this all works out. As we can probably guess, when it comes to communicating on a global scale, we're pretty much boned. A part of me kind of wants to see the whole operation go tits up and the aliens just wipe us out, but the picture couldn't go that dark…could it?
ARRIVAL will open in theaters on November 11, 2016.
