If you can’t get enough of Eddie Furlong (check out article on his latest, THE CROW: WICKED PRAYER HERE), then today is your lucky day! Variety is reporting that he’s signed on to the upcoming vampire flick KISS OF THE SUN.
Produced by Green Valley Entertainment, SUN tells the story of a female vampire who falls for a vampire hunter (Eddie) who’s out to kill her master.
Based on a short story by Stephen L. Antczak entitled ‘Virtual Day’ from the collection ‘Daydreams Undertaken’. Jon Hill, who directed the short WHITE BITCH DOWN (never heard of it, but what a title!), is up to direct this vampire love story. Micheal Valverde, founder GVE exclaimed “We are thrilled to have Eddie on board. We had him in mind when we wrote the script.”.
I’m not really sure why I find that quote so damn funny, but I couldn’t stop giggling to myself when I read that shit, so I thought I’d share it with you. They wrote the script with Eddie Furlong in mind? Ok….
KISS is set to begining filming this month in Miami, as well as Bucharest, Romania. No other casting news yet, but we’ll let you know as they filter on through!
