Either the world is crazy or you are in first American Gods trailer

American Gods Starz TV Ian McShane

Although I know next to nothing about Neil Gaiman's "American Gods", I'm still very much looking forward to the upcoming series, mainly due the incredible presence of Ian McShane as Mr. Wednesday and the involvement of Bryan Fuller. For the uninitiated, such as myself, American Gods takes place in a world where gods are real, both new and old, and use the human race as pawns in a grand chess game for humanity’s attention. Shadow Moon (Ricky Whittle) is an ex-con who becomes involved with Mr. Wednesday and the pair travel across America on a mission to gather his forces in preparation to battle the new deities.

The first trailer for the upcoming Starz series debuted at San Diego Comic-Con and I'm pleased to say that most everything looks very promising, even to a newbie.

American Gods will premiere on Starz in 2017.
