Just last week we were told that Milan Knazko, former government official of Slovakia, had been cast as the proprietor of the hostel in question in Eli Roth’s HOSTEL PART 2. Today Dread Central got word from the horses mouth (ie Roth himself) to confirm the report, as well as his take on how ironic it is that Knazko is in his picture.

“I asked him “Do you realize what film you’re in?!?” And he said “It’s fiction. It’s not a documentary about Slovakia”… I couldn’t agree more. But if Slovakia wasn’t pissed at me before, man, wait until they find out he’s got one of the lead roles…”

Roth also goes on to give a bit more background on the former Minister of Culture, exclaiming that the guy’s one of the more experienced actors out there, and amazingly enough, this is his first American movie. And what a movie to make his debut in!

It’s very cool Roth is behind this guy 100%, and it’s even cooler that the info. that was leaked to us turned out to be true! To check out the rest of what Roth had to say, go ahead and click HERE and prepare for HOSTEL PART 2 in theaters next spring.
