Smashing, baby! After experiencing two successful seasons on Hulu, it's been announced that English actress and model Elizabeth Hurley is joining the cast of Marvel's RUNAWAYS for its third season. The Austin Powers alumna recently met with the powers that be, and has boarded the project as famed Marvel villainess Morgan le Fay. Having made her first appearance in the pages of Black Knight #1 (circa May 1955), Morgan le Fay is a student of Merlin the Magician, and is recognized throughout Marvel's publishing arm as the greatest sorceress of all time. That's right, she'd give Doctor Strange a run for his money and then some. With her black crow familiar ever at her side, the wicked witch is able to enchant objects, manipulate mystic energy and astral project, making her a worthy foe for Nico Minoru, the Runaways' own blood magic user.

Elizabeth Hurley is joining the Marvel Universe and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her portraying one of the most enchanting Marvel characters,” said the show's executive producer and head of Marvel Television Jeph Loeb.

Upon boarding the Marvel television series that for two seasons has proven itself to be an engaging watch for fans both new and old, Hurley will reunite with showrunners Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, who previously created the series GOSSIP GIRL, on which Hurley plays Diana Payne for the show's fifth season. Hurley's existing chemistry with the duo should prove useful as she arrives on the RUNAWAYS set, and works in mysterious ways to bring toil and trouble to the wayward group of relunctant superheroes.

Marvel and Hulu's RUNAWAYS stars Rhenzy Feliz, Lyrica Okano, Virginia Gardner, Ariela Barer, Gregg Sulkin, and Allegra Acosta as the troublesome teens whose goal it is to bring down The Pride, a cult-like supervillain outfit made up of their own parents, as well as other nefarious ne'er do wells. Together, the group must learn to trust one another as they fight for freedom, and discover the truth behind what it means to be a family.

RUNAWAYS will return to Hulu for a third season consisting of 10 episodes. Meanwhile, Season 2 of the comic book action series debuted on December 21, 2018. Be sure to check your Hulu listings to get caught up before Season 3 arrives later this year, presumably.
