UPDATE: Deadline is reporting that Emma Stone has turned down the offer to star in PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES.
The upcoming adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith’s PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES is just one project that is taking way too long to catch on. I can’t remember how many directors have come and gone from this project, not to mention the gorgeous Natalie Portman, though she is still attached to produce. Now we haven’t heard any kind of casting news since Portman’s departure… until today.
You see the guys over at The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision blog are saying that ZOMBIELAND thesp Emma Stone has been offered the lead role in PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES. Stone definitely has that vulnerable badassness to her so I can see this working. All she has to do now is say yes.
PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES will tell the timeless story of a woman’s quest for love and independence amid the outbreak of a deadly virus that turns the undead into vicious killers.
