Empire magazine to get exclusive Thor: Ragnarok cover by Russell Dauterman

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

I'm not going to lie, I am so jealous of Empire magazine subscribers, right now. Why? Oh, I don't know, maybe it's because they'll be receiving and exclusive THOR: RAGAROK Subscriber Cover with art by the infinitely-talented Russell Dauterman. Dauterman – who is easily one of my favorite comic book artists of all time – will present a black, white, and red rendition of both Thor and Hela in the midst of an epic skirmish with one another for the cover.

You can drool over the exclusive cover art for yourself below:

Yeah, this dude is no joke. And yes, major kudos and credit to Dauterman's ofttimes collaborative colorist, Matthew Wilson, as well. Their collective synergy, in my opinion, is off the charts – making them a true "dynamic duo" in the modern day comics industry.

If you'd care to see some of Dauterman's more recent and color-oriented work, feast your eyes on this little gallery I've pulled together:

THOR: RAGNAROK, staring Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Idris Elba, Cate Blanchett, Tom Hiddleston, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jeff Goldblum, Jaime Alexander, Anthony Hopkins, Mark Ruffalo, Karl Urban, Taika Waittiti and more will raise Hela in theaters beginning on November 3rd!
