Empire Strikes Back trailer is remade in the style of The Last Jedi trailer

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Remixing footage and creating fan trailers is a really cool thing that the internet – and especially the advent of YouTube –
has allowed fans to do. It is a way to keep connected to the things that you grew up with and loved, while also adding your own spin. And usually without getting lawyers involved.

Anyway, the YouTube channel The Usual Suspects has decided to remake the EMPIRE STRIKES BACK trailer in the style of THE LAST JEDI trailer. And it works (for the most part)! Many of the same beats are there, and the darker musical themes that John Williams has written for the new film fit perfectly with the older one surprisingly well.

Meanwhile, THE LAST JEDI will fly into theaters December 15th.
