It’s not everyday that I pimp out a UK DVD release as they generally don’t apply to me, but sometimes a DVD cover comes along that quite frankly blows me away in its awesomeness, and the cover for the upcoming UK release of the Dario Argento / George A. Romero directed horror flick TWO EVIL EYES is simply just that: awesome!
We’re talkin’ old-school art for this release, featuring artwork drawn from scenes from the movie, but meshed together in one seamless poster that has me… drooling at the mouth! Mascara running from the eyes, a gore-drenched gaping mouth, a pit and the pendulum-like torture set-up, and a sacrificial virgin of sorts with big knockers… it doesn’t get any better than this!
At the moment, nothing is known about the DVD’s special features, but really… who cares? The cover alone is worth the buy. Look for TWO EVIL EYES on DVD in the UK February 15th courtesy of Arrow Films (no relation to the site–I promise!). For you North American residents, count on never seeing a cover quite this awesome in any store near you. We’re simply not that cool.
