Variety is reporting that Eriq La Salle (ER, Under the Dome) and Elise Neal (HUSTLE & FLOW, The Hughleys) have been added to the cast of WOLVERINE 3, joining Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant and Richard E. Grant. Unfortunately, there's no word on who they will be playing in the threequel.

Plot and character details are being kept under wraps, but we do know that Holbrook has been cast as the film's main villain, while Grant will play a villainous mad scientist type, and last week Merchant shaved his head in preparation for his role.

Production on the final Jackman-led solo Wolvie flick should kick off sometime this month with THE WOLVERINE helmer James Mangold returning to direct. Any guesses as to who La Salle and Neal will be playing in WOLVERINE 3?

WOLVERINE 3 is slated to hit theaters on March 3, 2017.
