Ever wonder what happened to Farmer & Lussier’s H3? Here’s the juice!

Remember a few months back when, after the meager success (critically, financially) of Rob Zombie’s HALOWEEN II, writer Todd Farmer (to the right) and director Patrick Lussier (MBV 3D) became attached to helm a 3D version of HALLOWEEN 3? Ever wonder what the hell happened with all that jazz?

Well, in a very fascinating piece written by Farmer himself, a journal of sorts, we’re exposed to all kinds of details surrounding the H3 debacle. It’s blunt, it’s candid, and it’s sure as shite entertaining (read it HERE).

In the piece, we get schedule timelines, casting details, descriptions of lengthy writing sessions, a few updates on Lussier’s new film DRIVE ANGRY (the Nic Cage revenge picture), FX man Gary Tunnicliffe’s involvement, and a whole host more.

In the end it’s all quite a shame. MY BLOODY VALENTINE 3D won a heap of praise last winter, and to see how far along Farmer, Lussier and Tunnicliffe could have brought the 3D horror paradigm might have been pretty f*ckin’ exciting. Michael Myers might have benefited from it as well!

So don’t wait, speed your ass over THIS WAY and get down with an insightful read.

Props to STYD for the drop.

MY BLOODY VALENTINE 3D star Jamie King!
