Evil World’s Fair

Director James Felix McKenney (above), who just wrapped SATAN HATES YOU (which I last mentioned here), has already got a brand new horror-themed project on his hands. It’s called WORLD’S FAIR and the story is teeming with shades of the supernatural. Check it out:

The plot is centered in and around a traveling carnival and tells of an escape artist who, at the end of his life, finds himself trapped in limbo because of the miserable existence he lived—he was a selfish, evil human being. He may have done something really horrible, and he starts reflecting back on his life.

Well, at least it sounds pretty original. Freaky carnivals are usually pretty potent places for horror. And McKenney seems like a guy who’s always sincerely excited about putting together an entertaining ride. I hope it works out nicely.

There’s no word yet on when we’ll be able to attend WORLD’S FAIR. We do know that McKenney wants to enlist Angus Scrimm to play the older version of the escape artist and Don Wood to play the younger one.
