Just a few months ago, we caught a glimpse of the trailer for the upcoming horror flick SURVIVAL, from director Joe Francis, as it was getting ready for the Texas Frightmare Weekend. Today we were supplied with quite a surprise: the first half of the Prelude Comic to the film, in preparation for it’s debut in Texas next week!
That’s right, folks, here’s your exclusive first look at SURVIVAL: PRELUDE, from Francis and Adrian Arista- and all I know is that if the movie can hold my attention like this comic has, we’re gonna be in for a real treat when this one hits!
Just as a refresher, SURVIVAL goes a little something like this: Four college kids head deep into the wooded areas of rural North Carolina for a week of fun and wicked debauchery, what they get is a psychotic brother and sister who enjoy capturing and torturing their prey. Torturing them to the brink of sanity, only to let them loose back into the woods to wreck havoc on unsuspecting visitors. The story, while seemingly generic, keeps the momentum with smart dialogue, and a brand of violence sure to make the viewer flinch with disgust that quickly turns into delight.
