Exclusive 1:1 Interview: Catching Fire star Donald Sutherland!

JoBloJoBlo

My first memory of Donald Sutherland was his role in the classic remake INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS. I was far too young to see it and it scared the crap out of me but I loved every second of it. Ever since that experience I have been a massive fan of this brilliant actor’s work. From his early film’s such as DON’T LOOK NOW, ANIMAL HOUSE and ORDINARY PEOPLE to his current work in THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE, he always impresses.

Sitting down with this legendary talent was an amazing experience. He was funny, wise and even stated during the interview how hard it is to have an in-depth conversation in the context of a four minute time limit (that is the usual time for these interviews). He talked about President Snow with such passion and excitement, that frankly it had me wanting to watch the film again. Getting a chance to speak to such an immense talent as Mr. Sutherland is simply beyond words… And I look forward to seeing him continue to inspire and ignite a fire in younger artists. THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE opens this Friday at a theatre near you.
