Hugh Jackman is as terrific an interview subject as you could hope for. Smart, articulate and clearly giving great thought to every answer, the man is nothing short of delightful. It also says something about his talent that he’s able to turn from this polite, charming fellow into the hard-edged Wolverine with ease.

I spoke to Jackman recently about his latest turn as Logan in X-MEN DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, which sees the legendary comic book hero sent back into the past in order to prevent anarchy in the present. Jackman and I discuss Logan’s new role as diplomat, the intrigue of time travel, and what he sees for the future of the franchise.
