Pop quiz hot-shot, name one person who doesn’t freaking love Judy Greer? BAM. That’s what I thought, you can’t. That’s ok, I don’t know any either. In fact I couldn’t help but relay to Ms. Greer my excitement when I heard she was cast as the crucial role of Ms. Desjardin in Kimberley Pierce’s CARRIE adaptation. It’s not an easy role for an actress but a vital one, as she is often said to be the surrogate for the audience.

Our conversation weaved into a few great revelations, including an alternate fate for Ms. Desjardin that Judy fought for (don’t worry, it’s still SPOILER FREE) as well as the possibility of her and Andy Serkis pulling some 13 GOING ON 30 “thriller” moves on the set of DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES.
