Russian Roulette has certainly had its memorable moments in film. DEER HUNTER anyone? But the deadly game is at the center of the Jason Statham film 13. Co-starring Mickey Rourke, Ray Winstone and Michael Shannon, the film follows a gritty underground competition where thirteen numbered contestants battle in a tournament of Russian Roulette, while an audience gambles on the winners.
The film is currently in a limited theatrical engagement and is also available this week on DVD and Blu-ray. Today we’ve got an exclusive clip from the film that shows off just how intense these games get. We’ve got Shannon as our Master of Ceremonies and Winstone and Sam Riley going face-to-face in competition. Statham, at least at this point, seems happy to hang back and watch the proceedings.
