Exclusive clip from found footage thriller Afflicted makes a run for it

We’ve been stoked about checking out Clif Prowse and Derek Lee’s found footage thriller AFFLICTED ever since first hearing about it. After it won Best Horror Film at last year’s Fantastic Fest our excitement for the film grew even stronger. Luckily for us CBS Films swooped in and picked this badboy up and is giving it a theatrical and VOD release today, April 4! That’s right! If you’ve been looking forward to checking this one out today is the day to finally do so, and to get you even more stoked we’ve landed an EXCLUSIVE clip for ya to check out.

While the found-footage sub genre has been wearing quite thin lately, the early word on AFFLICTED has been nothing but positive so I guess there’s still hope for films of the shaky cam variety. Here’s the synopsis:

This terrifying horror thriller follows two best friends who set out on the trip of a lifetime around the world. Their journey, documented every step of the way, soon takes a dark and unexpected turn after an encounter with a beautiful woman in Paris leaves one of them mysteriously afflicted.
