To say that I was raised on action movies as a wee lad is probably the understatement of the century. From Commando to Die Hard to Road House, the superheroes of my childhood were bar bouncers and ass-kicking military vets. Of course one of the most important franchises that I grew up watching that highly-influenced my taste in films was the original Mad Mad trilogy and with Mad Max: Fury Road releasing this weekend, I’m counting the seconds till I see it with my Dad who raised me on these classic heroes. To celebrate this moment, I’ve edited together a special tribute mashup to all the badasses that I looked up to as a little kid and you can catch it at the bottom of the article. Thanks to everyone for watching and always lets party!
