Exclusive: Full Moon’s 2021 plans include Evil Bong & Puppet Master spinoffs

Full Moon Features recently announced that they're getting back into the H.P. Lovecraft business with writer/director William Butler's MISKATONIC U: THE RESONATOR, which starts filming next month. Now we're proud to share the EXCLUSIVE announcement of three more films Full Moon is planning to make in 2021!

First up is the EVIL BONG spin-off THE GINGERWEED MAN, which will be directed by Brooks Davis.

The Gingerweed Man runs a successful dispensary delivery service, catering to a wide array of wacky clientele. But when he gets charged with protecting little Baby Buddy, a mysterious super strain weed dude that is wanted by every bad vibe in the city, mad misadventures follow! A riotous new comedy adventure offshoot from Full Moon's hugely popular EVIL BONG franchise!

Earlier this year, Full Moon released BLADE: THE IRON CROSS, the first "solo puppet" spin-off from the PUPPET MASTER franchise. In 2021, we'll be getting another spin-off, this one centered on DOKTOR DEATH, a puppet previously seen in RETRO PUPPET MASTER. BLADE: THE IRON CROSS director John Lechago returns to the helm for DOKTOR DEATH.

Doktor Death, one of the original "living puppets", is BACK, complete with sinister surgeries and deadly drugs. In this stand-alone shocker, a beautiful young med student is trapped in an erotic nightmare and must face-off against the demon that inhabits the evil puppet. Fantasy and reality bleed together in this eerie PUPPET MASTER chiller, from the director of Full Moon's recent hit PUPPET MASTER spinoff feature BLADE: THE IRON CROSS!

Then things get steamy with CASSEX, directed by Lindsey Schmitz.

Haunted by an '80s sex film icon, a married couple is suddenly transported to an erotic dimension where anything is possible.  Is it real, or reel? Is it fantasy… or is it CASSEX? In the tradition of Full Moon's popular couples-friendly erotica label Surrender Cinema and from the director of the upcoming FEMALIEN: COSMIC CRUSH, comes this sultry thriller that's sure to wind you up!

All three of these projects will be going into production in early 2021, part of Full Moon's plan to shoot two movies a month throughout the year. 18 of those 2021 projects are already in development.

Full Moon will get their busy 2021 started by releasing one film a week in the month of February.

I've been a fan of Full Moon for a long time, so I'm really excited to see what they're going to be bringing us in 2021, starting with MISKATONIC U: THE RESONATOR, THE GINGERWEED MAN, DOKTOR DEATH, and CASSEX.
