First thing’s first. THE GHOST WRITER isn’t about an actual ghost. Don’t expect to see Ewan McGregor walking around with a sheet over his head like Alec Baldwin in BEETLEJUICE. But that doesn’t mean this film is lacking in suspense and thrills.
McGregor stars as a ghost writer for the former British Prime Minister (Pierce Brosnan) writing his biography. As he’s working, he uncovers evidence that the former writer may have stumbled on to corruption and dark secrets in the Prime Minister’s past. Can he decode the clues and uncover the truth before he winds up turning into an actual ghost?
The film premieres tomorrow a the Berlin Film Festival and it’s surely the most anticipated flick at the fest. It’s the latest film from director Roman Polanski and we’re happy to bring you an exclusive TV spot for the film.
