After what seems like forever, Vivendi Games and Sierra Entertainment will finally give gamers a new taste of F.E.A.R. with EXTRACTION POINT, the official expansion to one of 2005’s best games.
Today, Sierra will be offering the single-player demo for the expansion, which will ship October 24th and retail for $29.99. The demo consists of a couple levels from the expansion, and allows gamers to sample some of the new weapons, including the sweet minigun. In the expansion, you will again play as the same highly trained elite military operative you played as in the original game. However, unlike the first game, in which you were hunting down the powerful clone commander Paxton Fettle, in the expansion you yourself will be hunted by the clone army that Paxton was in control of (along with more of the creepy, paranormal critters as well).
