Ezra Miller and their legal woes continue to grow. According to new legal documents, originally obtained by TMZ, the parents of an 18-year-old woman are asking the court to step in and keep the actor away from their daughter because they are using violence to groom their teenage daughter.

According to the legal documents, the daughter in question is named Tokata Iron Eyes and she met a then-23-year-old Miller in 2016 when she was only 12. The actor was visiting the Standing Rock Reservation in North Dakota and this is when they began a friendship that her parents believe began to their daughter at risk. Her parents say that Miller flew their daughter to London in 2017 to visit the studio where they were filming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, in which Miller had a starring role. At the time of the trip, Tokata was only 14 and Ezra was 25.

Tokata’s parents say as the friendship grew, Ezra began supplying their underage daughter with alcohol, marijuana, and LSD. They also claim that Ezra disrupted their daughter’s schooling at a private institute in Massachusetts which resulted in her dropping out in December of 2021. Seeing how the situation had escalated, the parents say they flew to Miller’s Vermont home in January to get their daughter and discovered that she didn’t have her driver’s license, car keys, bank card, and other items she would need to navigate life independently. They also claim that they found bruises on their daughter’s body that they allege Ezra caused.

Shortly after they got their daughter home, Tokata fled to New York City to reunite with the actor, and from there, the pair has been traveling together to Vermont, Hawaii, and Los Angeles. The duo was even spotted at a club in Hawaii in a video that was originally obtained by TMZ. This means that Tokata had been with Ezra when they got arrested several times during their stay in Hawaii, including the first incident that went public when they allegedly attacked bar patrons.

Tokata’s parents say in legal docs that, “Ezra uses violence, intimidation, threat of violence, fear, paranoia, delusions, and drugs to hold sway over a young adolescent Tokata.” They also allege that Ezra has told Tokata to solely go by the name of Gibson which is a nickname the daughter formerly used with family and friends. The parents also say that Ezra decided that Tokata is non-binary transgender, even though their daughter previously declared herself “non-binary, queer, gay.”

Tokata appears aware of her parents’ concerns because she recently took to social media to state that she’s mentally stable, and her “comrade” Ezra has been a help in her life. She also states that she’s recently gotten a therapist and is looking forward to the future. Despite what their daughter is saying, Tokata’s parents are asking the court to step in and issue an order of protection against Ezra on behalf of their daughter, and a hearing is now set for next month.

A Twitter page that appears to belong to Tokata’s mother seems to detail what Ezra has allegedly done in regard to her daughter. It really looks like a detailed history of what Ezra has done to take control of their daughter and their frantic attempts to try to bring awareness to what is going on with Tokata. A story that originated in Variety, that we also reported here, indicated that Warner Bros. would not be taking steps to replace Ezra Miller as The Flash, despite all of their legal troubles. The story seemed to indicate that Ezra would have to do something much more problematic for this to happen. If all of this is true, I would imagine that this would be considered very problematic and I have to imagine the studio is back to wondering what they need to do about Ezra. Everything around them seems to be getting worse. Definitely not the buzz you want hanging over the actor leading one of your most highly-anticipated tentpole releases.

What are YOUR thoughts on this latest Ezra Miller news? What should Warner Bros. do moving forward?
