We’re gathered here for another Face Off… and we have to ask, why do we do this to ourselves? Because it’s fun, that’s why! Yes, we’re here to tackle the impossible questions, such as the one we’re posing today: which of Sam Raimi’s horror films starring the one and only Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams and legions of Deadites, do you prefer — The Evil Dead or Evil Dead 2? Most of us would probably respond by saying, “I love them both; why should I choose” — which is a very reasonable way to confront the question. But then again, most of us probably DO have a preference when it comes down to it. Gun to head, final seconds on the clock ticking, what’s your choice?
We will weigh some of the most memorable attributes and attempt to find an answer. It might not be the answer you agree with — hell, we might not agree with it an hour or two from now — but at the end of the day, it’s all in the name of having a groovy time and talking about some of our favorite flicks.
