Fatal J’s Remake

A long while back we heard rumors that FATAL ATTRACTION, the movie that scared the bejesus out of everyman in America, was going to be remade. But then we forgot about it. Until today.


The Hollywood Reporter is now saying that there is, in fact, a remake of FATAL ATTRACTION coming our way, starring none other than LL COOL J!



Let that sink in….


“Cool J will play an everyman who gets into serious trouble when he engages in an extramarital affair.” Apparantly, this go-round is an ‘urban version’ of the tale told so well by Michael Douglas and psycho-hose-beast Glenn Close.


This follows Cool J’s 3 picture deal he just made with Lions Gate Films. So just when you though H20, or DEEP BLUE SEA was the last of Cool J, think agian. He’s back, and he’s here to stay. At least for a little while.


I’m sorry. I am honestly in shock about this- and for 2 reasons. 1) They’re remaking a movie made in 1987, a movie that doesn’t need to be remade (we had FEAR already- leave it alone!), and 2) muf*ckin’ LL Cool J’s gonna be the lead! Come on! An urban version? Urban, like LEPRECHAUN IN THE HOOD?
